*a lifetime Grain-Free diet has been linked to Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), a type of heart disease. It is believed that the carbohydrate source (legumes / potatoes) used in lieu of traditional carbohydrates may block the absorption of Taurine, an essential amino acid. Because this condition is currently linked to a lifetime of consumption, these products remain available for purchase, and it is considered safe to occasionally rotate Grain-Free foods into your dog's diet.
